The Mandolorian, nicknamed "Mando", is the main character of the series. He is a bounty hunter, and is sent to bring baby Yoda back to the Client. The story follows his and baby yoda's journey.

Baby Yoda steals the audience's attention every time we see him, and for good reason too; he provides adorable comic relief. A bounty is put on him by the Client. Mando tracks him. They grow attached to each other, and are the focus of the story.

An Ugnat that Mando finds on Arvala-7. He initially helps Mando travel to find baby yoda in the first episode. He continues to help him after Mando's ship is stripped by Jawa Scavengers, and aids him in the final episodes as a caretaker of Baby Yoda.

Cara Dune is a former rebel that is intoduced in the fourth episode on the lush planet Sorgan. They find a peaceful farming community that her and Mando help save from bandits. She reappears in the final episodes.

Greef is a part of the bounty hunter's guild, and gives the hunters their assignments. He helps the two main characters at the end of the season.

The client is a former imperial who employs the bounty hunter guild to find and bring back baby Yoda. He leads a small imperial remnant that survived after the fall of the empire.

IG-11 is a hunter droid who is initaly sent to kill baby Yoda, but is reprogramed to protect it by Kuill.

The armorer is a Mandolorian who seems to be the leader of the tribe that Mando is a part of. She forges weapons and armor for the group.
